here is where i am with the mccain portrait. it is basically him with the "war hear portrayal. as far as concept goes just from glancing at it i want it to look like a propaganda poster making him look like a military "hero" but the type inside all the space reads as follows:

on his face/head - "bush 2.0"
on his thumbs up hand - "tax cuts for the rich"
on his outer coat - "i am one of you"
his inner shirt / tie - "i own 8 mansions"
the yellow shape in the background is a sillohuette (however thats spelled) of IRAN with a bomb shape in the middle of it.
the plane shapes above read "war for oil"

as for the huge burgundy blobs, they are a germanica type which i played around with trying to get kind of an arabic feel. i feel they may be a bit too heavy though..........

dope shit man. Best thing I like about this piece is you use of color... I'm getting an old Russian feel from it... (I'd probably be Arabic as you intended but I didn't pay attention in Art history).. ha... dope shit...

I love your design. That Arabic like type has fantastic design. My language is not Arabic, but our letters has the same shape. Did you write Ali?

wrong choice of words then for the "arabic" part. either way you get where i was trying to go with it. unfortunately i couldn't find any fonts that would work so i just warped a germanica font, i still feel its too heavy though

Badass indeed. I love the font, either way. There is a certain blackletter font that the Nazis used for their newspapers and other printed materials. This reminds me of that, which completely ties in with the propaganda association.
